Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE) partners with students to ensure they are ready for, enroll in, and complete college. It is their mission to confront the challenges of a low-income, urban school district by providing families with equitable access to critical tools. Kayla is guiding them through academic challenges, the financial aid process, common app essays, offering advice on college preparation, and serving as a role model which has allowed her to make a positive impact on the next generation.
